Deliberately placed in front of the football, the word 'Mentality' serves as a symbolic testament to our dedication to placing mental health at the forefront of the game.
From our own experiences, we found that having conversations with our mates whilst watching football, playing FIFA, or after a game, felt much easier than intentionally meeting up for a chat. This realisation inspired us to create similar environments for other men.
Mentality Football was born.
Since September, we've been organising 7-aside mental health football sessions in Cardiff. Since then, our sessions have averaged 23 players and connected with 73 different individuals. We've created a community of likeminded people, offering good-hearted football with a chance for a chat and a drink after the game.
